I've been thinking about teaming up to do affiliate marketing (ex. one team account of people all working together on the same deals and sharing the tools/copy/resources), and the only thing that is getting in the way is how to share the commission. Accounts get paid by an individual's party withdrawing the funds to an account, but then it needs to be manually sent to each partner. But if each partner is paid based on their own results/links, then the account owner would need to calculate each partner's results and pay manually each month after being sure about accuracy. Another main issue is that it's a lot harder to register a sale (for automatic payments) when I don't own the sales page since I'm the affiliate; if it were products owned by us, it would be easy to apply payment. Does anyone know an easier way to do this, preferably automatically?
- First, I thought I could just set up a Stripe account and pay out, but apparently Stripe just receives payments, no payouts to people.
- Then, I thought I could program something that paid based on postback data when a sales reward comes in, but I still need a gateway to pay out from (banking rules are tough) and I don't know if all products from each link would apply correctly.
- Another possibility is to have the account owner set up their own affiliate system and make each partner an "affiliate" so that when sales come in from each person's link, they get a percentage of the affiliate commission (which would make this automatic), but there's still the issue of not owning the sales page so not being able to track the rewards for accurate payment, and having to enter every product/price available from every company.
- The only option I see as viable is having each person set up their own affiliate account and then hope that there's a way for the payout gateway to be set up so that each withdrawal automatically sends the right % to the different members.
Any different suggestions?
